Trump has ‘a huge problem’ with the ‘War on Christmas’
President Donald Trump has said he will not attend the Christmas season because of a “huge problem” with the “War on Thanksgiving.”
Trump tweeted Thursday, “We are facing a huge problem with the War on Christmas.”
The tweet comes amid Trump’s “Christmas tree” protests and his attacks on the NFL.
The president is expected to spend the holiday in Florida with family and friends, and has already been spending time at the White House and at Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach, Fla., club he used to own.
Trump, who is not attending the traditional Thanksgiving holiday in the US, has also expressed support for his eldest son Barron, who has been criticized for his role in a string of controversial social media posts.
He has also said he is considering the return of the Confederate flag from the White Senate.
