Redskins jersey ‘in the game’ for a while, but will they go away?
Redskin’s Alex Lewis has been wearing a red jersey since the start of the 2015 season, but the player has been seen wearing a grey one this season, as the team has been forced to play in the dark in a bid to avoid the virus.
“The red has been a little bit more in the game and we’ve been trying to do it for a little while now, but it’s been getting to be a little difficult,” said Lewis, who was part of the club’s Super Rugby squad for last season.
“We’re going to have to do what we can and we have to make sure it’s all right.”
“You just have to be careful,” Lewis added.
“It’s not easy to wear something that you’re not 100 per cent sure you’re going through, so you just have a few days and see how it goes.”
But, he added, “I think everyone will have the opportunity to have a good laugh at the end of the season, and I’m sure there will be some smiles.”
